MSc Healthcare Education and Management

This innovative programme offers healthcare professionals a truly flexible approach to learning in the field of Healthcare Education and Management. (Optional self-funded Russian placements are available as part of this MSc).

Duration: 2 — 3 years


Entry Requirements

  • BA or BSc, however holders of HE Diploma will also be considered.
Structure of the Course

The course aims to prepare and equip experienced healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to:

  • lead and manage healthcare practice
  • introduce teaching and learning strategies within clinical settings
  • research healthcare issues at local, national and international levels
  • implement workplace learning and apply knowledge to current projects
  • effectively manage change
  • implement research to enrich evidence based practice.

Learning is delivered in three stages: taught modules, work based learning projects and an academic paper and reflective summary. Students will also have the opportunity to visit Russia and explore issues in the Russian healthcare context.

Assessment Methods

Assignments, reflective summary or research project and viva.
